The 2023 Gulf Coast Karate Classic Point Standings Have Been Uploaded

Changes for the 2023 tournament season:

Please visit the MKA Membership page on this website to download, print and fill out the membership form to expedite processing at the tournament. Thanks. 

  • Dues are now $35.00 a year. You will still receive $5.00 off each tournament, plus other incentives that are yet to be determined. 

  • There will be 4 tournaments this year. To be eligible for state champion, you must be a member and compete in at least 3 of the 4 tournaments. 

  • This year instead of waiting until the end of the tournament season to protest any points, you will now have a limited time after the current point standings are posted. 

  • You will receive one extra point for each division if you compete in at the last tournament of the year. This year it is the Battle of the South in Picyune.

  • Metro Open: Saturday May 13, 2023; Mayo Gym, Hinds Community College, Raymond, MS.

  • Gulf Coast Karate Classic: July 15, 2023; Pascagoula Recreation Building, Pascagoula, MS. 

  • Gordon Martial Arts Tournament: September 9th, 2023; Hinds Community College, Raymond, MS.

  • Battle of the South: October, 2023; Picayune, MS.
